Joel Castanyé takes part in the “Dos anys construint el futur” event on the value of the Catalan agri-food sector

Chef Joel Castanyé took part in the “Dos anys construint el futur” event, held at CaixaForum Lleida, where he shared his perspective on the present and future of the Catalan agri-food sector alongside Òscar Ordeig, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food, and Montse Baró, Vice-President of AFRUCAT.

The event highlighted the challenge for the Catalan agri-food sector to go beyond production capacity and enhance the added value of its products through innovation, transformation, talent and a stronger connection with consumers.

From the Boscana, Joel Castanyé highlighted the potential of Lleida’s products and, especially, fruit as a first-class gastronomic ingredient, capable of becoming the protagonist of a cuisine of excellence with its own identity.
