Gastronomy and tribute at the Ateneu Barcelonès for «Diálogos»

La Boscana was responsible for the catering at the presentation of «Diálogos», the new Torrons Vicens collection created with Ferran Adrià and Gastón Acurio, at an event held at the Ateneu Barcelonès.

The menu combined dishes from la Boscana’s gastronomic menu with special creations paying tribute to Ferran Adrià and Gastón Acurio. One of the highlights was a reinterpretation of elBulli’s iconic Menestra de verduras en texturas (Vegetable Medley in Textures), created in 1994 as a tribute to Ferran Adrià.

After tasting it, Ferran Adrià expressed his admiration with words that Joel Castanyé will always remember: “It’s the most incredible work of art I’ve ever seen in my life.”

For the team at la Boscana, and especially for chef Joel Castanyé, sharing this creation with Ferran and Albert Adrià was a particularly meaningful occasion, both because of its connection to gastronomic history and because of his admiration for two major influences on his culinary journey.
